Professional qualifications and training designed for those who are, or wish to work in the Childcare sector. We can provide Children and Young Peoples Workforce at Level 2 through to Leadership in Children's Care, Learning and Development at Level 5.

Award in Support Work in Schools Level 2

If you would like to be a Teaching Assistant working with primary aged children, this level 2 qualification is an absolute must, particularly when competition for jobs is so fierce.

Children & Young People’s Workforce NVQ Level 2

This qualification is aimed at those working or volunteering in the work place with young children. This is the minimum qualification to count in childcare ratios.

Early Years Educator NVQ Level 3

The Early Years Educator (EYE) is for people who work with young children in childcare settings such as nurseries or childminding practices. It is a work-based course designed for those who are studying in the work place, including apprentices.

Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services NVQ Level 5

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge needed to manage practice and lead others in children and young people’s services.

Paediatric First Aid

This course will enable those working within childcare settings to have a sound knowledge and understanding of adult, child and baby first aid procedures. It meets the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted requirements.

Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools NVQ Level 2

This qualification is designed for those starting out either working or volunteering in teaching assistant roles, who wish to consolidate their knowledge and skills, and gain a recognised qualification.

Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools NVQ Level 3

This qualification is designed for those working in teaching assistant roles at a more advanced level. You will need to have some degree of responsibility through the planning and running of intervention groups or being named pupil support assistant with an input into the named pupil’s IEP and targets.

Childcare Apprenticeship

This Apprenticeship develops the knowledge and skills of those working with children aged 0-5 and assessment takes place throughout the programme. Apprentices could be in a children's centre, a nursery or a primary school. It's that flexible.
